NOTICE OF RACE

ORGANIZING AUTHORITY: the Brant Beach Yacht Club and the Brant Beach Sailing Foundation in conjunction with the U.S. Mariner Class Association are responsible for the Regatta.
RULES: The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the current Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the Prescriptions of US SAILING, the Mariner Class Association Rules Governing National and Regional Championships except as amended by this Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions.
ELIGIBILITY: The regatta is open to members of the Mariner Class in good standing.
ENTRY PROCEDURE: A completed registration form accompanied by a check for the entry fee must be received on or before August 9, 2019 or an additional late fee of $20 is required. Mail entries to: BBSF P.O. Box 402 Ship Bottom, NJ 08008 and include skipper and crew name and your boat number. Entry checks should be made payable to BBSF. ENTRY FEE: The fee is $160.00 and includes Friday refreshments, a tee shirt, continental breakfasts, Make Your Own lunches, a dinner Saturday night and refreshments Sunday after racing. After August 9th, the entry fee will be $180.00. Additional Meal tickets will be available at a TBD fee.

NUMBER OF RACES: Six are scheduled.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS: The Sailing Instructions will be available during registration.
SCORING: The Low Point scoring system, will apply. If six races are sailed, 5 will be scored with 1 throw out. If fewer than six races are sailed, then they will all count and three will constitute a Regatta.
AWARDS: Top three in the Championship and President’s fleet, skipper and crew.
GENERAL: A Water Filling Station will be available for your use.
